Yesterday during rehearsel I borrowed a pwb from a friend, he's a guitar player in the band that'll be with us tonight during the gig.
anyway, what an amazing thing!!!
A HUGE sweep, and an amazing growl, far different then my pba-2, I played Bellz with it and it sounded totally fucking over-the-top. It's about time I got one of these fuckers myself, I found one on the net, but it turned out to be hoax, a false ad by some guy who was in for the money, my money, so luckely I didn't I didn't fell for the old, "send me money, and I'll send you the goods" trick, and my search for another continues.
But one word about Morley, they don't make 'em like they used to.

dude, you're right!
I've even emailed Morley. I told them about how much cooler the old size was. The tone and sweep are much greater on my PWB and I'll never give it up!

Yeah, let's set up a petition for a PWB reissue, that would be cool.

already been done, they said no. They want to keep moving forward with their products. Not backward. Oh well. I told them they should issue new pedals with the big style and the old sound as well... they didn't go for it or a petition

They want to keep moving forward with their products. Not backward. Is it just me, or are they fooling theirselves?! Not to bash the new pedals, not at all, they still sound and function really good, but the sound of the PWB has never been surpassed by any of their latter pedals. So I guess my search for the holy grail continues, till finally one day I will be amongst the brotherhood of the Power Wah Boost worshipping the ground Cliff burton walked on and listening to angels softly singing the melody to "aneastesia/Pulling teeth". Amen.

in case any one reads this, I got one!!!
I traded with my friend, his PWB for my whammy 4 and some cash (from his side) and it's still amazing. mine has serial 191968, anyone (Loki, smaggs...) know how old it is? I think they pretty much ahead of their time, it already makes use of LDR's, where Dunlop still uses those normal pots to this day......
Amazing!
