Hey, fellas, listen to this:
Bells at members.chello.com/r.hofman9
I played bass, my brother who is the leadguitarist in our band "Titanium" played all of the guitars and the drums come from an ancient program called Impulse Tracker.
Please tell me what you think of it.

Duder, That's a very badass version! I love the drum programs. Your bruddah's guitar work is kick-ass too... I noticed you added the little extra thing at the end of each intro on the bass... that little hammer on thing... I do that like Jason did but still add the stuff Cliff did too! It's nice to hear someone actually do a good cover of an old school Metallica song! Two thumbs up!

Thanks guys, nice to hear people like your stuff (pat on the shoulder).
I thought it'd be cool to post this amongst other Metallica fans to liven up this board a bit. I also posted this on Metboard and even Crunchmeister thought it was good.

Very Cool cover indeed. I especially like the slide you do at the end of each silent part. Kinda like what Cliff did but in the other direction. The intro sounded great too, you were getting a good sound. What kind of gear did you use?

Thanks man,
I used my Fender precision (american std w/ Seymour Duncan quarterpound pickup for a fuller sound), my Trace Elliot 715smc amp (mic'ed), a Boss CS-3 compression/sustainer for my "normal" bass sound, a Boss ODB-3 bass overdrive and my Morley dual bass wah.
My brother used his Epiphone Les Paul std.(w/ Seymour duncan alnico pro II bridge pickup) through a Marshall JCM900 dual reverb head w/ 4x12 cab and a Boss GE-7 eq for the leads, and his Boss V-wah for that lead guitar shit during the outro.
It was recorded using Cakewalk home studio.
