It's been quiet around here this last week.

Yeah, I've recently done tons of screenshots from a bunch of metallica vids. There are a few up on my site in the "Video Stills" section.

Anyway, there are a few ways to do them. One way is to hit the "print Scrn" button on your keyboard and then open a picture viewing program and hit paste. That way is very limited though and usually you won't be able to get and video pics to show up. Just websites and desktop stuff.

And then you can get a snapshot program which is how I usually do it. The one that I use is called "HyperSnap DX-4". You can download a free trial version of it on their website. But the trial version puts a dumb watermark on everthing that you take a snapshot of so I found a crack for it online somewhere and it worked (I know, I'm bad). So that's what I'd reccomend.

But even with that, I've found that it can't take pics from some DVD's because it can't figure out what the ecoding is (or some crazy technical thing about overlays and stuff that I don't understand) and for that I used a trial dvd player called (DVD-X Player) that has a built in snapshot button. The only downside to that program is that since it's a trial version it only stays on for about 10 minutes and then shuts off and you have to restart it. Annoying but it works.

And speaking of Snapshots I've got 186 (I think that was the total) snapshots from the whole Cunning Stunts DVD which are going to be on my new and improved site. Oh-no, I've said to much.....
