Hi, guys i'm new here. My name is metal dirk, i've been playing bass for over 8 years now and i'm a great metallica/jason fan.
to lokire:
the distortion pedal on jason's pedalboard from the justice tour is actually a sansamp classic and not his tech21 xxl which wasn't even available until '96. It took me a long time studying that picture, haha, but I finally found it.
and yes, I am that same guy that helped you out with that german page earlier.

Cool. Thanks man. I'll update when I get the chance.
And thanks for helping me with that german page, I got a lot of Jason's rack setup info from there. Which reminds me, I have an awesome new pic of Jason's rack that I need to put up. I'll try and get around to that stuff tommorrow but no gaurantees.

Yeah, I've seen it, looks cool man. I'm 100% sure that the Mesa/boogie unit right above the Mackie is the Mesa high gain amp switcher like James and Kirk use. The unit with the above that is a Custom Audio Electronics (Bradshaw) 4x4 switcher which he uses to switch his effects pedals (which are in the drawer). He uses the mesa switcher to route his signal to the preamps of the svt's, the bassdriverDI and his morley wah. The mackie then mixes all those signals and sends it through the DBX166 compressor back into the power amps of the svt's and the crown. For cabinets he used ampeg 8x10 and Isovent cabs. phew, quite a setup. I got all this stuff from that german page. Where does Monty-Jay get all these cool pics?

I'm not sure where Monty gets some of his pics. I know that a lot of them come from really rare magazines, a lot of them being foreign and not easily available in the US. Other than that though I'm not sure. He is definately the guy to go to for that kind of stuff though.
